Riya Bhargava

Ms. Bhargava brings expertise in data analysis and programming, with extensive application in renewable energy, policy, and market research. Ms. Bhargava has also been instrumental in carrying out thorough research on net metering policies, spanning various utilities and states, and analyzing interconnection queues for renewable projects. Additionally, Ms. Bhargava has conducted research on default service, contributed to utility assessments, and actively monitors utility and energy sector trends, along with rate case filings for the U.S. Department of Energy and the Air Force. Prior to joining Exeter, she analyzed the American Rescue Plan spending and the ARP Community Needs survey at the Southern Economic Advancement Project. During her graduate studies, she specialized in industrial organization, causal inference, micro-econometric analysis, and delved into asset pricing, labor, and health economics.

Ms. Bhargava holds an M.S. in Economics from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Business Economics, Honors, from the University of Delhi in India.
