Mr. Vliet assists senior staff on various projects, including wholesale market issues; policy research; bill and rate analysis; tariff analysis; energy supply analysis; policy design, analysis and implementation; and economic and regulatory analysis. Prior to joining Exeter, Mr. Vliet worked in a variety of analytical roles in the energy sector. His experience includes conducting management audits at the Florida Public Service Commission, enforcing North American Electric Reliability Corporation reliability standards across the ERO Enterprise, overseeing violation submittals from the Western Electric Coordinating Council, and conducting research on the renewable energy sector at the American Council on Renewable Energy. He also possesses substantive knowledge of tax equity transactions for renewable energy project finance.
