Abby Huebler

Ms. Huebler supports senior staff in conducting primary research on a range of topics including state and regional energy markets, rate design, and renewable energy integration, in addition to monitoring utility and energy sector trends and regulatory changes. Ms. Huebler has experience in state-level energy program design and implementation, with a focus on renewable energy and electrification. Prior to joining Exeter, she supported Maryland’s residential and large-scale solar, electric vehicle, and energy efficiency programs through her role at the Maryland Energy Administration.

During her graduate studies, she conducted research on state-level solar incentive design efficacy and was involved in a research project that conducted technical and socio-economic analysis to evaluate the potential for small-scale “renewable energy communities” as an option for energy in Amsterdam neighborhoods.

Ms. Huebler holds an M.S. in Spatial, Transport, and Environmental Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Delaware.
