Experience with utility regulatory filings and a background in consulting or advisory services will set you apart.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Policy, or related fields.
Experience and Skills:
- 1-5 years of experience in the utility industry is preferred.
- Strong quantitative skills are essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in report publication is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct economic, regulatory, and policy analysis, along with options studies for clients.
- Help support preparation of expert testimony or reports as required.
- Contribute to a range of projects, such as:
- Class cost-of-service studies
- Revenue requirement analysis
- Life-cycle cost analysis
- Policy and options analysis
- Program and billing audits
- Market price forecasting
- Supporting utility contract negotiations

Compensation & Perks:
- Salary: $65k–$80k, depending on experience and education
